Well, work still kicking, have my house project going well and started that giant deck project. Yepp all 3 at once! ugg!
My job for the bills, the extra projects to keep going on my own home. What a life it is! I'll try and get some nice pics up shortly.
Keep up the great work SYN. I see lots stepping up and do read my messages. To be honest I wasn't sure just how things would go with me not being on as much lately. But a nice surprise as you guys and gals keep up our traditions.
Little bit of a break as my work on 1 of the projects going lets me go to the next. I'm hoping it gives me a chance to breathe a little and have the time and energy to hang in the later evenings. These past few weeks its 930 and crash! yukk!!
Even though my time is short for now I do still read messages and answer some of those things important SYN! While I do manage to get an hour or so while eating a late dinner I am seeing some members stepping up and yet others not.
I love being your CD but SYN is each members to share and grow in. So I would ask that the ranking you hold you live up to. Trust in your squads ability to solve those smaller things that may come up, and bond together. These little things we can do both create and strengthen.
OMG I would like to kick back to my normal schedule. I'm not going to complain,, ha ha,, yes I am! Working till dark every day is no fun. Working 30 ft up on a 2 ft. plank and a 14 inch French gutter all day then re siding my house at night. Also have a 71x16 ft. multi level deck, a renovation to a auto body shop and another addition to start in a few weeks. ugg! And in my spare time come help manage SYN.
So thank all of you that are showing that dedication I always try and give here. Winter months will soon return and we can all settle in on some new adventures together.
Busy time for me personally as I'm trying to get lots done before the cold sets in again. Not to mention some work thrown my way which is all good stuff, but tiring for sure.
I'm glad to see our other leaders and members stepping it up too as we rebuild a bit.
I nominate DHG neikowigwam to the Ice Bucket Challenge. If you want to know how it works you can go on my wall for full details. Post a vid or photo. Good luck my friend you have till Sunday
I'm seeing some great transformations some good, some not so good. Nice seeing those stepping up and keep in mind if you are not willing to give that extra mile for your squads you certainly won't be seeing your efforts returned to you by a well active squad.
There is always someone willing to do the extras and want to succeed.
Got a bit of disturbing news also as I logged on here. Seems a former member, no bad feelings left as he moved onto a different community is being harassed by some DHG members.
So just as it is in our COC not to instigate in these actions I'm calling them out here. I'm not familiar with the tag but if someone does know the members squad, division please let me know so I can deal appropriately in this kind of behavior.
The tag is DHGxR4bb1tM4N Don't know this one but feel free to actually read our COC a few dozen times so you may learn we are not a community that causes all that drama that goes on.
Been trying to take a little break for myself as I've lots to do before fall sets in again. I'm not ignoring anyone, just full days and a little well needed time for myself at the end of the long days.
Please try and use the chain of command a bit more as they may be able to assist a little faster than I can for now.
I'm liking our new Monday night madness squad battles we came up with! Caden narrowly pulled it back in last night 2nd week running! Those shotguns are fun!
Lil, explain how it goes in case other divisions would like to give it a go,,
Each Monday night after regular practices, Must show up to practices to attend! May be 1v1 up to 3v3 and such, The battles are squad based, 3 rounds best of,, and each week some off the wall weapon selection as deemed by a div leader. Make sure each squad knows the rules, then let em rip!
We've done boom night, where everything that goes boom,, and shotguns only besides tacticals etc. were aloud,, keeps it interesting!
The fun part of this is seeing members having fun! joining in! and some new excitement added. All Good Stuff SYN!
Like I've always said, its your division, Its just our jobs to see everyone having fun in what we do.
