Ensure the following is locked and loaded to yield the best Destiny experience possible.
Excuse to school/work: The best excuses are the least detailed. Quick one liners are the best. "I have a personal engagement, my hands are tied." or "Family emergency out of my control."
Special Lady: Make sure that you compliment your special lady as much as possible for the next two weeks. You need to feed your destiny addiction and you need to do so without your special lady heckling you. So if you compliment the heck out of her, it will give her the elusion that you are paying attention to her and not so much your game. Make sure to buy her something nice to keep her entertained and out of your hair. No special lady? lucky, go ahead and make destiny your b$%Eh.
Dedicated gaming area: If you have the room, you may want to designate an area for gaming. Out of sight, out of mind. Preferably, a place where you're out of everyones way so you can pawn some darkness. Oh, you have a "man cave"? Lucky! Pics please!
Snacks: You should stack up on snacks, aim for things that aren't as greasy, you don't want a lot of grease in your hands getting you killed, messing up your KD. Beef Jerky is always a good choice. Water is better than other drinks, keeps you hydrated longer, giving you more time to become legend. Soft drinks will just make you more thirsty and you'll continue making trips to the restroom instead of trips to the moon.

Teammates: Starting and managing a group is too hard, instead, look for a group that caters to your needs.
