Admittedly I've missed more than my fair share of anniversaries so I'd like to apologize for missing yours too. You are an individual who inspires others to strive for better things. You are one of the best officers I've ever seen and I hope that you never change who you are. I am proud of your accomplishments, both as your former gen and current commanding officer.
