Hello. Here is an update if anybody is wondering what has happened to me over the past months. I am obviously irrelevant now and it is entirely possible that this post is pointless. However I recently remembered how much I loved to play Minecraft online and the friends I made through it.
I quit Minecraft for the most part. Survival games with guns and paintball were the only two games that I really enjoyed/still enjoy, and both of the games died out.
I joined the competitive Mario Kart Wii community late 2015, and have played in a competitive league (WL) under the name of StripE on MKBoards.com
It is very fun, as the game is a hybrid skill/luck based game, and I enjoy playing with my current team "Swift".
This is all thanks to Wiimmfi (https://wiimmfi.de/), of course. The Nintendo online servers were shut off years ago, but dedicated players created their own servers that thousands still play on to this day (probably not as many due to the installation being a bit complicated). I have met plenty of great people and plenty of not-so-great people there. I have enjoyed my stay at the large international community and have no intentions of leaving anytime soon.
If anybody is interested in what competitive MKW looks like, here is my latest MKW livestream (including call), which is the latest match Swift has played in Wiimmfi League. I took the liberty of finding where the war starts: https://youtu.be/j1dKSjOciXc?t=30m9s
As for music, I still compose trance (and a bit of prog/deep house). I have been working hard on improving, but school has been getting busier so balancing school work, music composition, and MKW is a bit difficult. My latest tracks can be found in this long crossfade with all of the decent songs I composed in 2016: https://youtu.be/hUqciwFDHO8 - would recommend skipping towards the one hour mark if you do not wish to spend over an hour listening to my music Altair and Stasis are my two self-proclaimed best tracks of 2016, with my 'Elegy for Rem' remix being my most popular track.
I have not gotten any new official releases, but I hope that I will have a few more before graduating high school. I did reach 100 followers on Soundcloud however, which is pretty nice.
