I did this parody years and years ago, I wanted to revisit it and improve it. original song is "still alive" by Jonathan Coulton from Portal, anime is Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Was originally made for fun after I saw the the ending lyrics floating around
...Girls are seriously magical. Make-up is one thing, but I attempted painting my nails today. It was okay, until I found out you're meant to use four coats of polish. So like, I missed using the base coat. But more importantly, I should be using two coats of colour, right? 1 coat was fine. The second coat always ruined it D: And I don't have any clear top coat polish. ...Point is, I spent more than an hour doing this and ugh. How do girls do this. I'm still not satisfied. And I may have wasted half a pot of polish. Geh.

I don't know how people have the patience to bother with make-up all the time :'D but you have to realise they get used to it and eventually it's much quicker. I can do mine in less than half the time than when I first started now.
I can't understand that either, especially as make-up just makes my skin go bad ;-; Like, I'll end up with a spot the next day. But you're right, I realised that when thinking about eyeliner. It doesn't take me long at all but other people spend ages trying to get it right o.ob
It's probably the chemicals if it's making your skin go bad. There's likely some other brand that'd work better for you *shrugs* But yeah, stay away if it's doing that to you :'D Pfft.. eyeliner, I hate with a passion xD That's my biggest difficulty when it comes to makeup. Not really go bad but... Since I never apply anything on my face, my skin isn't used to having my pores clogged with make-up. Or something. I haven't used any in months so I don't know anymore :'D
I like eyeliner :'D In my case though, it's practise makes perfect and actually liking the result :'D ...Maybe I just need practice with the nails, I dunno ;w; Oh and because you can't actually see your face without a mirror, unlike your hands which are right there, I guess you don't worry about your eyeliner as much :'D

They're certainly not human o.o Quite possibly, I mean, make-up is an art.. and like all art: the more you practice; the better you become. What is life? OTL I mean, back when I was only a part-timer I used to think I'm not making the most of what I have and that I should get a proper job according to my qualifications and stuff. Now that I pretty much have that, I end up thinking I only have the weekend and up to 6 hours in a weekday to myself to do what I want and even then, I just want to sleep or laze around.
When will I ever be satisfied? D: I am grateful for what I have but knowing most people spend most of their lives just working is kinda sad v.v No wonder I never wanted to grow up >.>
Sorry for the rant, I'm just being a little selfish and childish and had to put down these thoughts somewhere ;w; It might just be that recently before I got this new job, I actually started having fun with my longer than usual free time going out with friends and doing stuff I enjoy ^^;
Tell me about it. All I hear from my dad is how much he dislikes work, it's all he ever talks about. And then my mom all throughout the week from Sunday evening "roll on Friday". I'm like, stop wishing your life away, it's depressing as fudge. It's why I absolutely refuse to work a 9-5 full time job that I don't enjoy. Though everyone always responds with "yeah good luck living then" and "you need money though", and I'm just like, nothing makes me feel more depressed than the thought of wasting away my life doing something I hate >.>
It's different if you enjoy your job though. Do you enjoy your job Purpy?

Yeah, to be honest, I only got a full time job because of expectations of family and society and stuff =w=; I don't hate my job though. It's okay, not bad but not great - Then again, I've only been here a week so it's too soon to judge :'D Fortunately everyone I met here are all nice and helpful so I can hope for the best ;w;/
That's why I absolutely despise society xD They place too many expectations on you it's ridiculous. It's essentially mass mind-control, is what they're trying to accomplish. But if I may be so bold as to say, I would suggest not doing something because of what other people want. o: Other people's expectations? I say forget them; you're your own person and you need to do what makes YOU happy. o: Life is too short to worry about other people's expectations if you won't be happy doing it. z_z At least that's how I see things anyway. *shrugs*

Hey, today my view of it is better ^^ I got assigned a buddy and she and my 2 managers are really reassuring and helpful ;w; The only issue is actually being more enthusiastic about the work itself, unfortunately I'm not that interested in the department I work for, I just needed a job =w=;
