This is my third time being apart of MDG and I have my expectations set high. As long as we come together and play the game there will be nothing that will stop our ideas and goals. When we play together we win together bringing in new recruits and captivating them with the idea of what a gaming community is. Letting them know that practice isn't the only time they are apart of MDG by sending out invites during the day to play the games we love or just to hang out in a party with other members so that we all get to know one another. With new ranking structure being developed and tested to farther progress the efficiency of how a squad runs I know that we are Modern Day Gamers. Always striving for tomorrow, improving current methods, and creating new ideas. Never stop innovating. -Starlord
Tonight's practice was pretty good other than a small argument between two members but it was handled well by leadership within practice with the end result of them having each other muted. After that practice continued without any problems as everyone communicated very well and focused on the game. The idea was brought up of could uplink be consider a flag game because of the old game mode one flag CTF in a pass CoD game. They are very similar with some variation in game style plus would provide us with a little more variety in game modes on flag days. -StarLord
With my schedule open I've decided to rejoin MDG and give it my best try to make it a place to be for when you get online there will be like minded people who enjoy the game and are looking to play with a team. Tonight is my first practice after rejoining and I'm really looking forward to it. Hoping for as many attendees as possibly to have a full, rich experiences that will intrigue new members to participate and stay with the community because the recruits are our most important factor. Its one thing to land a recruit for a number in your bio its another thing entirely to keep the recruit interested to becoming wholly involved within the community. "Play with your privates" the most valued quote I've taken out of my time in gaming communities because we are as strong as our weakest link. Also for other reasons this holds true such as getting to know squad members, seeing potential officers, spreading ideas, communication, and maintaining community morale. See everyone at practice tonight.
I've given it thought this weekend and I'm usually really busy. I'm definitely still here to help out where I can and maybe grab a few recruits on the way. There will be now time in my schedule to fulfill the duties of an officers. Especially after January 7th when I'll be starting a full credit hour semester. I've been in officer positions before throughout different communities and I know what it takes so I'm willing to step up when the time permits whether that means training, hosting, cohosting, or recruiting.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

The holiday season is here and I wish everyone safe travels and vacations. As I will be spending most of this time with family and friends I can stay in contact via smartglass and/or enjin. Please don't be afraid to message me and ask what's up I'll always be friendly and respectful even if I don't know you.
How impressive is it to say that our xbox one division Eudoxia is close to opening its second squad only one month after black ops 3 released? Everyone here is doing an amazing job and I want to recognize everyone who is doing what it takes to be the best. The doers and go getters, the ones who turn on their console just to be apart of MDG. You are the ones who have made this all possible and I know everyone thanks you for your hard work. Keep moving forward and each one of us as a whole will achieve greatness, there is nothing that can hold us back other than ourselves. Let's all work together with no animosity between any members far and wide. No one should be afraid to share their ideas or speak to their officers, they are there to help you and work with you. Lead by example and others will follow; as an officer don't be afraid to do what others won't even if it's below your rank. With some sense of equality and synergy we will be the division all others want to be. Eventually we would be the community every other wants to be. -Your last hope, Kenobi
The new week here in MDG has already started and I still see the same strengths and weaknesses as last week in Demeter. Who is actually partying up with other members getting to know them outside of practice? Please correct me if you think I'm wrong; but this squad can't work together if we are never together outside of our mandatory, biweekly practices. Not everyone can come to each and every practice or meeting because of their current situations in life. Of my current superiors who is going out and teaching the basics of recruiting, hosting and cohost. It's not like we don't need people who know how to do all three. You can tell someone to do something over and over again but if they're not sure on how to do it it'll never be done correctly. Lastly, idk why so many different people have to mass message the whole squad with the same relative information. Instead could only a few send informational, inspirational, and motivational messages to the squad with a limit to the number each person should send. I'm absolutely sure no new recruit wants their inbox blown up.
I'm always in open parties looking to game, you're more then welcome to hop in and join in on the fun. the squad is doing amazing working together, gaming together, respecting each other, enjoying each other despite the issues with the game. It's not easy to keep everyone together right now but each of us is going out of our way to keep people involved and active. Anyhoo, like I said I'm always down to game!
Yeah I definitely agree like stated in my previous post qouted by Badger in his above comment. The messages show how involved people want to be but should they not be pointed in another direction to help build the squad now that we have officers and leaders to release all information to the squad. The rest could get together in open parties and game lobbies to recruit the members we need to grow into the strongest squad we can. Would that not be a much better alternative to everyone sending the same messages as the person before them? We have a lot to focus on and little man power to do it.
I'm glad to be able to say how much I see members of this amazing community putting in the effort to make it an even better place for people to join and play the games they enjoy most with people whom genuinely care about the individual needs of members. As long as we keep our drive for constant improvement in each squad and division our community will grow stronger the more each member grows with one another. Camaraderie amongst family will take us farther than any could think possible by helping each other and consistently making new members feel as if they are apart of a larger unit of cohesion where the actions of one can truly affect the over all atmosphere of the lobby, squad, and division. Let's make MDG a place people want to be, where everyone looks forward to attending practices and meetings to be along other with the same goals and ideas in mind. Never forget we are only as strong as our weakest link and it's the duty of every veteran member to strengthen each and every link by introducing themselves to recruits; inviting them into parties and game lobbies involving them in our spectacular community.
MDG is a wonderful family to be apart of and I'm really glad I joined a place where I can grow and develop not only as a gamer but as a person with personal bonds with individuals that will last a life time giving me the opportunity to help other people realize their potential to become great leaders and set an example of excellence for all new and upcoming members. I only wish everyone had the chance to experience an environment where they can excel at being themselves without harsh judgement or criticism on decisions that could lead to successful enterprises.
There is so much on my mind right now that I can hardly function but Im doing my best to fight through it and do what I need to but the weight of my thoughts are finally dragging me down.
please find turtle on the members list (up at the top) and post on his wall letting him know you have the xbox 1. if you have a 360 as well also include that.
now that you are a team leader you will need to make sure your team is squared away on the website and on the xbox congrats on your promotion
Getting friend requests from people I'm not too sure I can trust but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance like a humbled individual would do.
