MUSEUM EXHIBITDHG Headquarters (community era) as captured 2017-10-01A preserved page, not a live site. Links work: they lead to another preserved page here, or to the same page on the Internet Archive. Styling is preserved where the original files could be saved; some images are gone for good, because the services that hosted them shut down. Forms and buttons cannot work, because the servers behind them are long gone. Spot yourself and want a page taken down? Say so in Hive Ideas and it comes down.Back to DHG Through History · this capture on the Wayback Machine
"If they want to be an officer (which is more of someone who just keeps stuff in order, a bit different there than on WoW) they must prove themselves with tests over a period of time."
Well Para, that's us two told we're not as good as some teenage kid in Halo
Nooo no no no! that's definitely not what I'm saying! The tests are more of just how good you know the CoC of the community, get an X amount of recruits and host a Y amount of gamenights and some other small stuff.
What I was trying to say is that the community I'm in has...
Hey Wedlon,
I know English isn't your first language so maybe I'm misunderstanding some of the things you are saying. As far as I can tell, we're saying the same things. The only difference is I'm suggesting that we do all of those things over a period of time rather than a week after someone joins. Currently people get core status after a few raids.
There is no way to apply the criteria discussed in this thread fairly to a group of people over a short time period. That's all the difference is. It's like work - if someone performs well o...
I'll be attending ToV HC if the rest of the guild are okay with that. Personally I think I shouldn't because of my lack of gear (858 as of writing this) plus my little experience with everyone, just a bit awkward is what I'm trying to say.
But as long as everyone else is okay with my precense I'm in 100%
I'll ask one of my friends if he wants to roll DPS on his priest and join us, maybe even a few others if they have geared enough alts which are ranged.
I'm Wedlon BTW
The one and only SWEDISH VENDING MACHINE!!
But yea, that's somewhat what I've been saying. Investing in new people and those should be chosen by the core members who also should be invested in.
As for raids I'll definitely join for the HC's. It went pretty well last time despite my low DMG output which I figured out why it was and that was because of the wrong talents. I've worked out my rotation now and I think I'll do somewhat better next time.
Kib's Item Level. Shows people's complete iLvL, what enchants/gems and a bit more I think. Pretty handy in cases where you need to check people's iLvL and yelling out questions becomes too much of a hassle.
Details! I prefer this over Recount and Skada. From what I've heard Recount is also incorrect in terms of DPS and HPS whilst Skada just misses features which Recount and Details! have. Also I think Details! has a few more and better features.
Hi DHG, which toon are you in the guild? It's nice to know who people are :) The info might be here somewhere but I can't find it.
I'm Wedlon, as stated in my first post. I'm one of the trial raiders. I'm in a Halo community on Xbox who use Enjin aswell and this is my GT. Enjin sadly doesn't allow you to use multiple aliases for multiple sites which is a shame, at least I have my WoW character linked on my page.
Anyways, to ask you a question and try to answer your question above :-
If you can tell me a way we can tell how some trial...
I think you forgot that I mentioned earlier that there are two types of trial members. The ordinary and those who have gotten the trust of the core raiders. The trusted ones, the one's who show potential and signs of staying in the guild should be the ones who get priorotized amongst the trial raiders in terms of gear.
If the mentality of "Oh once they get gear they'll leave for another guild" only goes for the trial raiders then why doesn't it go for the core ones? Could it be because of the interraction and personal connection between eachot...
