Black Lagoon is the only "Lagoon" anime that I can think of, and I can say this one is COMPLETELY different (and has a much lighter tone!).

That one was REALLY nice, in part because it was so relaxing. No randomly dumping fancervice, no random weirdness, just an interesting Slice of Life. And better yet, they got the "witchcraft" aspect down pretty darn well, save for all the supernatural stuff needed for plot (a real "witch" is more of a healer).
